We at Mr-Vallarta.com support the work of Families at the dump. We encourage our clients and friends who go to Puerto Vallarta to take a few hours out of your vacation and go visit the volunteers at Paradise Village. See www.familiesatthedump.org website for hours and when to visit/volunteer. It is a great way to get involved and give back to the community of Puerto Vallarta and also a way to teach our children that not everyone has it as good as we do. Some kids actually live at a city dump and rely on the charity of others to eat and drink clean water. Sometimes they even have to eat the discarded food others throw into the trash that ends up at the dump just to survive. Mr. Vallarta.com is committed to donating a percentage of our proceeds to the organization that feeds and helps support some of the poorest in Puerto Vallarta. Approximately 10% of the net proceeds go to support this organization in Puerto Vallarta. We encourage our clients and friends to go visit this group and see what they are all about. We also encourage donations to this organization. They are tax deductible for U.S. and Canada. See their website for details and tax id numbers.
